About the Author:
Raised in Alaska, Kathy Slamp now travels extensively full time as a
motivational and Christian speaker. In the summer she changes hats
entirely when she works in Alaska for a major cruise line as their
onboard naturalist. In this capacity, she has the opportunity to
interact with individuals from every country and every culture in the
world. As an experienced educator (she has taught Kindergarten through
college and served as a high school assistant principal), Kathy is
able to blend her teaching expertise with her open people skills. The
